How do I....?

 This page is intended to serve as a resource for parents and students in order to carry out various processes on the computer.

• What is my student username?
  • Your student username is created by using all of the letters in your last name, the first letter of your first name, and the first letter of your middle name. 
• What is my student password?
  • Unfortunately, passwords can't be provided over the phone, but you can access your password by visiting the parent side of the SV portal. 
• How do I access the SV Resource page from home?
  • Go to resources.svsd.net
  • Since you're not connected to the Seneca Valley network, you'll need to enter your student username and password.
• How do I access one of the resources on the SV resource page from home?
  • Once you're on the resources page, select the tool that you'd like to use. When you click on it, it will ask you to enter your SV credentials in the form of an email address and password.
  • Your email address is your username with @svsd.net tacked on to the end, and your password is your student ID number.
• How do I access my textbook from home?
  • Log in to the SV Portal as a student, and click on the textbook icon next to the desired subject.
